      Q:What is the recommended mounting for these shutters? Does it require a hinge, or can the shutter be hung directly into brick grout as other shutters?

      A:  Thank you for your question. You can either screw them directly into the house, use functional shutter hinges and pintels, or there is a fix mounting angle bracket that you can order to screw them to the house without screwing through the front of the shutters.

        A:  There is 7" from the top of the shutter to the top of the batten and 7" from the bottom of the shutter to the bottom of the batten. The battens are 3" wide.

            A:  The "natural cedar" shutters have an extra panel coming (instead of 3 panels "natural cedar" has 4 vertical panels.
