A:  Thank you for your interest in this product! These crossheads are sold based on the bottom width. That means that if you want the crosshead to be 122" wide at the bottom, then you would want to order the option that says product length is 122 in. The top flares out an additional 6-1/4" overall. So if the bottom measures 122", then the top will measure 128-1/4" wide. Best of luck on your project!

A:  Thank you for your interest in this product! If you need the bottom of the crosshead to be 122" wide, then you would want to order the model number CRH09X122. If you purchase this option, then the top width of the crosshead where it flares out would measure 128-1/4" wide. The height of the crosshead from the bottom to the top would be 9". The most important measurement to order off of is the bottom width. This is because crossheads should line up as close as possible to the outside measurements of the trim that they are mounted on top of. For example, if you have a 36" door but you have 4" wide trim on each side of the door, then the overall measurement of the door with the trim would be 44". In that example, the bottom of your crosshead should measure 44" or as close to it as possible. Best of luck on your project!

A:  Thanks for reaching out. Sure, these panels can easily be cut, trimmed, or mitered with general woodworking tools. The material (polyurethane) has a similar density to wood, thus can be trimmed as such. The crossheads install with general construction adhesive and screws/nails, instantly upgrading any window, door, entryway, and more!

A:  Great question. These crossheads are not exactly hollow, but the have a very small amount of room to allow them to cover a trim. The amount of room is less that 1 inch.
