Q:These are listed as primed, but say no maintenance. Do they need to be painted?

    Answer This Question

A:  Thank you for your interest in our product! These crossheads do come primed white, and do require paint upon installation. These are made from polyurethane, which is designed to look like real wood but without the upkeep and maintenance that comes alongside real wood. A big part of that is urethane does not expand and contract, so after the initial painting the item will not be expanding and contracting and causing damage to the paint finish, so after the initial painting it will not need to be refinished or touched up. Good luck on your project!

      Answer This Question

A:  Thank you for your interest in our product! That width measurement listed is the bottom width of the crosshead, so if you select this 52" option that bottom edge will be 52". With the 52" bottom width, the top width will come in at 55 7/8". Good luck on your project!

A:  Thank you for your interest in our products! This product line is highly customizable and can be made to virtually any length. Due to shipping constraints, certain lengths are not available online. All that is to say, yes, we can create a crosshead that length, but it is something that you would need to quote in-store.
