Q:What is the measurement difference between the bottom width and top?

A:  The product width specification given, is the bottom width. For example, the 43" bottom width crosshead, has a top width of 46 1/8". If you chose another size, feel free to visit the "Product Overview" section on this page and it will give both the bottom and top width dimensions, of each size.       A:  Hello! Unfortunately not. However, we offer on that is very close and the item number is CRH07X. They come in a number of widths, but the 7" crosshead has a 1" bottom projection.

        A:  Yes, you can install this on a stucco exterior. Below is a link for the installation instructions. https://images.homedepotstatic.com/catalog/pdfImages/74/74e1f484-fbf7-4324-9c14-cec5e69f7ff7.pdf Basic installation instruction is to Fasten using Loctite PL Premium Construction Adhesive and any necessary fasteners. Also seal the edges using an exterior grade silicone sealant around the perimeter to seal around all the edges to prevent moisture from getting between the Moulding and the stucco surface.

        A:  Typically it is the measurement of the window itself, plus the width of any trim surrounding the window.

            Q:Just want to verify that if I order a 42 inch wide crosshead, the BOTTOM is going to 42 inches, and the top will be significantly wider (approx 3 inches or so). Correct?

            A:  Thank you for your interest in our products. When you select the product width, you are selecting the width of the bottom of the crosshead. The top will be wider than the bottom.

              Q:On a 24" wide header how wide is it at the narrowest point? I'm referring to the flat surface in the middle.

              A:  Thank you for your question Luke. The flat surface in the middle has a projection of approximately 1/4" and the very bottom of the crosshead is 1/2" thick.

                        A:  Hi Micio, You may cut this molding with a miter saw, you will need a fine tooth carbide blade of the best results. Always wear safety glasses when cutting any material, especially this kind of material as it creates many small fragments which may get into your eyes. Mike
