Q:So its still not clear in the questions what the width (the second dimension) refers to. If I order the 1-1/4 in. x 47 in. x 5-1/2 in., will the BOTTOM be 47 in. wide? Thank you!

A:  The dimensions listed to chose from are the bottom widths of the crossheads (as that is the most important dimension). The top width of this 47", is 51 1/4". You can see this specifics under the "Product Overview Section", in the bullet points. That will always clarify the bottom and top widths, for you.

    A:  Thanks for reaching out and your interest in our products! Yes, the Polyurethane Standard Crosshead Moulding can be installed on brick. You would simply use an adhesive and a masonry bit and screws. Installation of polyurethane is very similar to wood, but offers longer exterior longevity, due to the non-wood material.       Q:Is the width measurement (24", 36", etc.) the width of the door it is including the side moulding? If it is including the side moulding, how much should you include on each side for matching flat moulding + the door width?

        Q:What is the minimum length? The length at the bottom. I have ordered these before and had to return the item because the bottom was too small.
