A:  Thank you for your interest in our product. On the 8" bracket the holes are 1" from the top and bottom, with one in the center. That puts the center to center measurement of the holes at around 3". Good luck on your project

A:  Thanks for reaching out. The top and bottom hole are 1" from the ends of the bracket. The middle hole is centered, 5" from the top of the bracket and 5" from the bottom of the bracket (to the center of the hole). The holes are standard 1/4 inch. These brackets are sturdy and make installation hassle-free with the pre-drilled holes.
