When it comes to mantles, counter tops, shelving or anything else in your home that you want to support, proper installation is the key. It's imperative that the installer take the right steps to ensure structural stability within the wall or whatever surface you’re mounting to. As there are so many varying installation surfaces (masonry, wood, ect) and applications (mantels, countertops, granite, ect) there is not a set number they are rated for, as it varies by application. When it comes to mantles, counter tops, shelving or anything else in your home that you want to support, proper installation is the key. It's imperative that the installer take the right steps to insure structural stability within the wall or whatever surface you’re mounting to. Hardware is not included, as installation is commonly done within several different surfaces (wood, masonry, concrete, ect). You would purchase the appropriate screw for your surface.
