A: It's a beautiful light. Yes, it can be installed with a dimmer. We used LED light bulbs; so it required a LED capable dimmer. They are very common. Just look for the LED icon on the switch package.

A: Yes...but we have a fan in the bathroom and it is quite far from the shower. Our contractor said as long as it doesn't get wet, it is okay and so if it's not used for the shower, it should be fine. We put above the vanity and it looks gorgeous!

A: Hello Mike and thank you for your question.
In order to have a sufficient amount of clearance from your island, you will need to draw the cords all the way up. When you do that, you may need to cut the cord because there will be too much to wire to stuff inside the canopy. The manufacturer highly recommends that you have a licensed electrician install and wire.
