Q:can this be used to seal over a microcement shower?
by|Nov 7, 2023
1 Answer
Answer This Question
A: Natural Seal does need a porous, and less dense concrete to effectively penetrate and seal. Etching may be required to seal the microcement properly. Eagle Natural Seal is a breathable sealer, meaning it is not waterproof, but rather water resistant. If water is left on sealed concrete for an extended period of time, it will permeate through.

Q:Can I use on my basement concrete floor prior installing a vinyl floor? If yes, I read the needs to reapplied every two years. I am assuming that reapplying is for outside?

Answer This Question
A: The Natural Seal can be applied to smooth troweled concrete if the surface is porous enough. We do not test the compatibility of the Natural Seal with vinyl flooring on top of it, and the desired outcome is not guaranteed. This product does have a two-year average of durability, which does include interior applications.
