Questions and Answers for Eagle 1 Gal. Natural Seal Penetrating Clear Water-Based Concrete and Masonry Water Repellant Sealer and Salt Protectant

A:  The Natural Seal can be used on concrete, however, it is water resistant, not waterproof. If you intend to waterproof a concrete roof, I recommend using a waterproof sealer.

A:  The Natural Seal will not prevent the formation of mold or mildew. The Natural Seal is a water-resistant sealer that can potentially help reduce the likelihood of mold and mildew, but this is not a unanimous fact.

A:  Yes, it is recommended to use a pump sprayer to apply the Natural Seal, followed by cross-rolling the product, for a uniform application.

A:  It is not recommended to paint overtop any of our sealers, due to potential compatibility issues. Eagle Sealers are not tested against or with other products, made by other manufacturers.

A:  Natural Seal does need a porous, and less dense concrete to effectively penetrate and seal. Etching may be required to seal the microcement properly. Eagle Natural Seal is a breathable sealer, meaning it is not waterproof, but rather water resistant. If water is left on sealed concrete for an extended period of time, it will permeate through.

A:  The Natural Seal can be applied to smooth troweled concrete if the surface is porous enough. We do not test the compatibility of the Natural Seal with vinyl flooring on top of it, and the desired outcome is not guaranteed. This product does have a two-year average of durability, which does include interior applications.
