A: The grass grows under the turf and then mixes with the synthetic lawn, so if grass already grows there then the product will work.

A: Howdy Dave,
Yes, this product just is placed over existing grass and allows most grass under it to grow through the matting.
Here is a video that best describes how it works:

Most of the brown spots will disappear when covered with this ex hybrid turf.
Happy lawning,

Q:Is the Artificial Grass Synthetic Lawn Turf work well in central Florida?

Answer This Question
A: Howdy Bev4Charlie,
The idea of synthetic grass is a fast growing and welcome addition to any home. Besides looking great, saving water, and money, the added bonus is less maintenance.
To answer your questions in order let’s start with;
1) “Will the real grass require any type of mowing, or maintenance?”,-all grass requires some sort of maintenance. You will need to water, mow, and fertilize periodically but not as much or often.
2) “Can I lay the turf on concrete?”-Grass needs soil to grow roots in and hold water and nutrients. So this would not work on concrete.
3) “What other items do you suggest for a good installation?” Besides choosing a good site I’ve included a photo of the instructions of how to install. It is similar to regular synthetic turf except part of it is open for real grass to grow in.
Happy Growing,
Coach Dave
