The inside latch of push-button hardware has a component called the night latch. The purpose of the night latch is to lock the door from the inside of the house. To lock it, you can move the night latch by sliding up the pin or button. To unlock it, just slide it down. You may visit the nearest Home Depot store in your area to check the display doors. - Arnie
