A:  I got an Echo speed feed 400 universal trimmer head. It’s super easy to feed the string in and wind it without taking the head off. Extra $30 but worth it. 

A:  Mine came with the one in the picture, not the Speed Feed 400. The stock head works fine, even though I prefer the Speed Feed 400. The main gear is commercial grade, so pairing the two would provide a great trim head for years.
