Q:Can this bag be used for a chainsaw? Bar chain oil always leaks. Does this bag have a lined bottom so that the oil does not leak through?

A:  Hi Greg! Yes, the 24" Equipment Bag can be used with the ECHO Chainsaws. We are sorry to hear about the difficulties you have experienced with your ECHO Chainsaw. The ECHO chain saws feature a gear driven oiler that is controlled by the rotation of the crankshaft. If the engine is turned off and the crankshaft stops with the gear oiler in the open position the pressure inside a full oil tank will build causing the oil to flow through the oil lines and out onto the bar. To prevent this from occurring, store the oil tank half full. If the unit continues to leak with a half of tank of bar and chain oil, take your unit to an Authorized ECHO Servicing Dealer for inspection.
