    A:  This is a ceiling support box for transitioning from stove pipe to chimney and use to pass through a ceiling. Never heard of a control box, so I cannot answer your question. Please refer to the DuraPlus installation instructions for how to install this item.

          A:  UL requires a minimum of 2 inches below the ceiling, but more can be if necessary. Please refer to the DuraPlus installation instructions at www.duravent.com
