          Answer This Question

A:  I think it would work fine but recommend that you use the lowest speed and of course hold the Dremel with both hands to maintain control.

          by|Apr 1, 2019

A:  It cuts metal well so plaster should be no problem.

          by|Aug 13, 2019

A:  I don’t think this bit matches the intended use. This bit is for cutting laterally. You should be able to get a different bit, perhaps for a conventional drill instead of a Dremel tool.

A:  It might have too much power and remove too much metal. I think that a Dremel grinding wheel would be better.

                            by|Mar 29, 2019

A:  yes it can be used but not knowing the material you are working with you could remove to much material. Look at other bits for a Dremel tool some of the abrasive bits might be better they will remove material more slowly and you will have better control. Attached is a bit guide.

A:  The Dremel 9903 Tungsten Carbide Cutter is about 1-1/2" in length. For further assistance, please contact us at 1-800-4-DREMEL (1-800-437-3635), Monday-Friday, 8A-5P CST.

A:  The bit is 1-1/2" long. The cutting edge from the tip is 5/8".

A:  Since this bit is 1/8 of an inch and is used in Dremel tools total length should be 1.5 to 2 inches. Most Dremel working depth is about 1 inch off the end of the locking nut. The bit needs to insert into the Dremel about 1/2 inch,

A:  About 2 inches overall. I do NOT like to use these bits on steel as tiny sharp shards stick in skin.
