Questions and Answers for Dremel Fortiflex Heavy Duty Variable Speed Corded Flex Shaft Tool with 8 in. Cord and 21 Accessories

A:  This has been a super tool.. I’m so happy I spent the little extra and decided to do it. It has help so much and the power is way more than I ever expected. I polish out metals and grind different materials for precision and items on motorcycles. Great tool. I would absolutely buy again!

A:  I didn't even bother going to a store that had it in stock because the closest was over 60 miles away . so i ordered it and had it shipped directly to my house instead of the store. I personally love this tool and use it more often than I thought i ever would. the only downside is I went through two dremel 3000s and three of the flex shaft attachments before i stumbled upon the fortiflex. the foot pedal control is exceptional and can't think of a better way to expand this tool's variety of implimentation. I would pay for overnight delivery if it was an option cuz this is easily on of my favorite and most used tools in my arsenal, 10 stars and if i had more than two thumbs they would be up as well.

A:  It's been a 2 years since I made my purchase, so times may be different today. I ordered it on the 9th and picked it up in the store on the 17th. One warning to you, make sure to check youtube for proper maintenance of the flex shaft. Dremel is not really helpful on that kind of info. Proper lubrication is the key to keeping both the hand piece and the shaft from overheating!

A:  I just checked the web briefly. it seems like it is not also currently available at some other retailers, Walmart does not have it on their site anymore, Amazon only has some private seller offering it at a ridiculous price. I cant imagine dremel would discontinue this nice tool. Try contacting dremel directly? It could be a supply problem....

A:  The capability to drill through silver will rest on the quality of the drill bit inserted into the Dremel; not the dremel itself.

A:  yes it will and u wont burn up the bit if you use cutting oil and do it at a fairly medium to slow speed perfectly

A:  For cutting metal to include steel tube Dremel offers the EZ456 fiberglass reinforced cutting Wheel (used with EZ402 mandrel) or standard 426 fiberglass reinforced cutting wheel (used with 402 mandrel) recommended for use with a corded rotary tool like the Dremel 9100 Fortiflex. These are very aggressive wheels so please be careful.
