A:  Great question! Yes, you can certainly install the Solo directly to a tiled floor. You will want to make certain that your floor is pitched towards the shower drain. You will also need to make certain that you caulk well along the bottom, paying special attention to the grout lines. Hope this helps. A:  The Solo is available in a frosted glass version that is available through HomeDepot. The item number for that is SHEN-7236360-01-FR. You can put that into the HomeDepot search field and the door will come up for you. The tempered clear glass version of the Solo can not be etched, however.
