A:  This unit does not come with any sort of additional support for the stationary glass. The U-channel hardware that holds the stationary glass will be enough to ensure that the unit is very sturdy. Although it is not necessary for safe and proper installation of the shower enclosure, if you want to purchase an additional L-Bar support, you can do so through Home Depot's website. To view the L-Bar supports that are available, simply search "DreamLine L-Bar" on HomeDepot.com. A:  The DreamLine Unidoor model series features adjustable hinges. The hinges will come to you from the factory pre-set for outward swing (which is the recommended use) but can be adjusted to allow for inward swing or both inward & outward swing. Please note that if adjusting the hinge for both inward & outward swing, you will be unable to use the provided strike seal vinyl and there will be a gap between the two pieces of glass where water could leak out if you are not careful. A:  If you have a double threshold shower base, then you will need to install Piece G as it connects to the front panel. If you only need a shower door, which is installed between 2 walls, you will need to order SHDR-244957210-06. A:  Yes, you will need a 36" by 36" double threshold shower base, model #DLT-1036360. You can place that model number in the Home Depot search field and it will come up for you. A:  Mo, DreamLine recommends that the base be 2" larger than the enclosure size, if it is meant to be installed to the studs. Unfortunately, DreamLine does not make a base in the size to work with this enclosure. You will need to speak with a Home Depot representative to see if they have a base in that size available from another manufacturer. Building a custom base is always an option. You can pull the technical drawings for this enclosure off of the Home Depot web page and consult a contractor about that, should you choose that route.
