Q:what is the size of the box it ships in?
by|Jan 12, 2023
1 Answer
Answer This Question
A: This item ships on a large pallet containing multiple boxes. If you are picking it up from your local Home Depot store, you will need a larger SUV or truck. The 2 largest boxes will be the glass boxes which will each be approximately 30"(W) x 76"(L). There will also be one long narrow hardware box that will be approximately the same length as the glass boxes (76"). Q:Which wall within the shower are the shelves to be installed (right, back or left)? Will they interfere with shower head system which is on left side of shower (see photo)?
by|Nov 5, 2022

Answer This Question
A: The shelves are integrated and can only be installed on the side where your stationary panel is because the stationary panel glass actually has holes in the glass to install the shelf brackets. It is recommended that you have the showerhead on the same side as the door glass for best results, but showerhead placement is entirely up to you. Answer This Question
A: Yes, you can install this model on a "curb-less" shower. The guide block hardware will need to be fastened directly to your floor with the provided screws instead of fastened to a threshold. If you have any other questions, we invite you to contact our DreamLine PreSales Consultants at 866-282-8413. We can also be reached by sending an email to support@dreamline.com. Our hours of operation are 9am-6pm EST, Monday through Friday. Thank you for your interest in DreamLine.

Q:Does the door swing in or out? I’m worried it won’t clear the toilet.

A: The Elegance opens outward only. Please check the technical drawing for the Access width measurement. This is also the swing of the door when measured from the pivot point. We are available 8am-6pm EST, Monday through Friday and will be happy to answer any questions you may have. You may also send an email to support@dreamline.com. Thank you for considering DreamLine!

Q:Do u have to use the glass shelfs provided or is there plugs for them. I prefer not to use. Is that an option?
by|Feb 7, 2021
1 Answer
Answer This Question
A: The glass shelves are not only functional, they are the source of support for the stationary panel and must be installed. We recommend that you look at the Elegance LS models as they have a support bracket and do not have the shelves as the source of support. If you have any other questions, please contact a DreamLine PreSales Consultant at 866-282-8413. We are available 8am-6pm EST, Monday through Friday and will be happy to answer any questions you may have. You may also send an email to support@dreamline.com. Thank you for considering DreamLine!

Q:After the installation of this shower door, there is about a quarter of an inch gap between the glass door and the the door frame on the hinge side. How do you seal this gap so no water come out when showering?

Answer This Question
A: There is a vinyl strip that should have been installed that covers that gap and it was included with the door. Q:How wide is the door?
by|Jul 10, 2020
1 Answer
Answer This Question
A: The door panel is 24-3/4" wide, as noted on the technical drawing next to the main photo. DreamLine recommends that the shower base be appx. 2" larger than the shower enclosure. In this case, you would need a 34" by 32" double threshold shower base. DreamLine does not make a shower base in that size, however. If you have any other questions, please contact a DreamLine PreSales Consultant at 866-282-8413. We are available 9am-6pm EST, Monday through Friday and will be happy to help you choose the perfect shower door for your space. You may also send an email to support@dreamline.com.
