A:  There is a Unidoor Plus model size that will fit your 56-3/4" opening. The model number SHDR-245657210-01 will get you the same product, but in a 56-1/2" - 57" size. A:  As long as you are not over 59" or under 58.5" at any point, this door will work for you. Please note that you also need double studs behind your finished walls for installation of the hinged panel. A:  No. It only opens out. The door only swings one way. There is a stop on the glass panel and the hinge only goes 90°.

A:  The DreamLine Unidoor Plus shower doors now feature adjustable hinges, allowing you to choose if you would like the door to open inward or outward. The hinges come to you pre-set by the factory to open outward, which is the recommended position. Should you choose to adjust the hinge to open inward, you will need to change the orientation of the vinyl piece that the door closes against, installing the flange on the outside of the shower. Instructions will be included with the hinge for changing the orientation of the swing. A simple adjustment is all that it takes to allow the door to open inward. A:  Without measuring them. I think they were approximately 7 to 8 inches from the top and bottom of the glass doore.

A:  Not really. You have to factor in the stainless channel depth plus the depth of the plastic attachment between the two glass panels. We came up short even though we followed the directions

A:  No; the opening must be between 58.5 and 59 inches and you mount it directly on the tile.

A:  DreamLine strongly recommends that you wait until your backer board and tile are up before measuring for your shower door. DreamLine shower doors are sold to finished opening measurements only. You will likely end up with a finished opening measurement closer to 58", which means this door would not fit. A:  The installation width goes to 59 inches. The instructions are to install double studs or 2x6 inch wood blocking between the studs where the hinges attach to the wall, so it can probably work.

A:  The moving door panel measures 27-3/8" and fits an installed area of 28". This Unidoor Plus unit will fit a finished opening of 58-1/2" to 59" wide only. Double check your finished, tile-to-tile measurements at the top, middle and bottom of your opening and call the DreamLine Customer Support Team.
