A:  DreamLine SlimLine shower bases are all Universal Plumbing Code (UPC) certified. Tempered glass shower doors do not hook up to any sort of plumbing, so they are not Universal Plumbing Code certified. A:  The Unidoor Plus comes with a door glass and an inline panel. The product is fully reversible, so you can put the door glass on either wall. Where the two pieces of glass meet in the center when the door is closed, there will be a vinyl seal for the door to close against and this seal will cover the gap between the two panels so that water doesn't leak out. A:  The 46-47" Unidoor has an absolute minimum width tolerance of 46" and an absolute maximum width tolerance of 47". The wall that you install the door glass on must be plumb for this model and none of your finished width measurements (top, middle, or bottom) can be above the maximum tolerance or below the minimum tolerance. Please be sure to measure and check your site conditions carefully before selecting a door. We recommend that you install the base, finish the walls, and then measure for your shower door at the top, middle and bottom of your opening. A:  This 46-47" Unidoor will not work for an opening 48.75" wide. Your space is outside of the width range for the door. You will need the 48-49" Unidoor, model number SHDR-20487210-04, for your space. You can copy and paste that model number into the Home Depot search field. A:  The Unidoor comes with a vinyl strip for the hinge side of the moving door, under the moving door, and one that attaches to the edge of the stationary panel. A:  The DreamLine Unidoor shower doors now feature adjustable hinges, allowing you to choose if you would like the door to open inward or outward. The hinges come to you pre-set by the factory to open outward, which is the recommended position. Should you choose to adjust the hinge to open inward, you will need to change the orientation of the vinyl piece that the door closes against, installing the flange on the outside of the shower. Instructions will be included with the hinge for changing the orientation of the swing. A simple adjustment is all that it takes to allow the door to open inward.
