Q:If no rollers on the bottom, then how are moving panels held at bottom and will mold build up on bottom track?

Answer This Question
A: Rollers are at the top only. The bottom is secured and with a push of a button, they are released for easy cleaning.

A: Rollers on top and Bottom. I LOVE the way it looks and works.
by|Oct 20, 2020
A: No rollers on the bottom. We own this. There is a middle piece roughly halfway from one end of the tub to the other that helps guide the moving glass. The glass is also finished on its bottom; it is not just bare glass

Answer This Question
A: DreamLine shower doors have no adjustment for an out of level shower base. Your base must be level from side to side. A: I would say no. But that is an opinion based on the way the doors must match snugly in the middle to keep water in. It's only a magnetic "latch", so they need to meet squarely.

A: We had a friend install it who does this for a living. We would never have been able to get it installed correctly, but if you have experience in this type of thing i am sure you could do it!
by|Aug 28, 2019
A: It's easy to install as long as you have a level and a pencil. I installed the doors myself with no help.
by|Aug 29, 2019
A: I paid a professional to install this as I’m not mechanical inclined. If you are good at DIY you could most likely install yourself.
by|Aug 30, 2019
A: It really depends on your skill set. My brother-in-law installed it but he does have more experience than myself. One thing is for certain: You will need two people when it is time to position the glass panels.
by|Aug 30, 2019
A: Nope. I'm a DIY guy and did it in less than 3 hours. Just make sure you read the instructions.

A: The glass panels are frameless. The panels do need framing to move through and to provide adjustablilty. Q:Do I have to use this with a DreamLine shower base or will it work with other shower bases too?
by|Jul 8, 2018

Answer This Question
A: A couple of things to consider.
It will work with other shower bases as long as the curb is wide enough for the frame to sit on. By wide enough I'm speaking of the dimension of the curb top as measured from outside the shower to inside the shower, typically 2 to 4 inches.
Another consideration would be the shape of your shower base where the curb meets the walls. On some one piece, integrated shower kits, the curb curves into the vertical wall. Since the shower door frame makes a 90 degree angle at these points, you would have to trim the frame to match the curve of your curb to wall transition.

A: The Visions is able to work with other shower base, as long as the threshold is at least 1" wide and you have a 90° angle where the wall meets the threshold.
