A:  DreamLine SlimLine shower bases are designed to be used with a shower enclosure, but some customers have used them with shower curtains. very successfully. Please view the technical drawing among the thumbnail photos to view the dimensions of the shower base. A:  Great question meemeej! Please look at the technical drawing for this shower base that is among the thumbnail photos under the main photo. That shows that the drain location is 12" by 12" off of the back corner. This measurement is from your framing, not your finished walls, so please take that into account when measuring. A:  No, this will not work.

A:  The curve begins 11-15/16" out from the studs and the radius is 21-5/8". You can fiew these figures on the technical drawing on The Home Depot web page. A:  Pat, DreamLine bases are meant to be installed to the studs. If your walls are finished already, then you have 2 options. You can cut away your waterproof system to just above the flange and install the base to the studs. The other option is to install the base to your walls, then apply a 1/4" backer board over your waterproof walls to the top of the flange, then install your tile over that.
