A:  Herb, Yes, you can order just the Solo without the base. The model number for the Solo featured in this kit is SHEN-7231310-01. The Solo also comes in a 34"model and a 36" model. A:  Sue, The model number for this same kit in a 38" size is DL-6713-01CL. You can put that model number in the Home Depot search field and it will come up for you. That kit has a 38" base and a 36" enclosure. The bases are always 2" larger than the enclosure. A:  The walls in this shower enclosure photograph are computer generated and are not actual tiles. You would need to choose and install your own tile. DreamLine also makes acrylic walls that are available through HomeDepot. A:  The wall material has no bearing on the installation of the sliding shower door and base. The material selection for the walls is entirely up to the owner.

A:  yes, for this one the walls need to be tiled. there is another, same style, that includes the shower enclosure. My contractor said the tiles would be more durable, better looking and stay cleaner and the cost when all is done would be about the same. I went for the tile on his advice and it looks fabulous.
