A:  DreamLine SlimLine shower bases have not been tested to be used with a bench tiled on to them, so we can not speak to how it will effect the base. DreamLine shower bases have a limited, life-time warranty and altering the base by tiling a bench to it can void your warranty. DreamLine offers Folding Teak Shower Seats that mount to your wall and fold up when not in use. They are a great space-saving option. The model number for the Teak Seat is SHST-02-TN.
