    A:  The Butterfly shower door will fit an opening 34" to 35-1/2" wide. Most people use 1/2" backer board, which is what we base our estimates on.       A:  The Butterfly shower door kit that you have referenced does not include acrylic walls. The kit includes the shower door and the DreamLine SlimLine shower base. Hope this helps.         A:  Jerry, the Butterfly is available without the base through The Home Depot. The model number for that is SHDR-4536726-01 and it will fit a finished opening 34-35-1/2" wide. You can place that model number in The Home Depot search field and it will come up for you.
