      Q:Can i order the base with center location?

      A:  Princess, DreamLine bases are not able to be customized. The drain location is pre-determined and in this case is 12" squared off of the corner. There is a technical drawing for the base amid the thumbnail photos under the main photo on the Home Depot web page for this kit.         Q:Directions say "walls can be installed over existing tile' - but it appears from directions base must be installed against studs.

        A:  Dee, you are correct in that the base must be installed against the studs. The description you read is for the walls only. Some customers do not replace their base and opt to use our walls over their existing tile, rather than replace the tile.           Q:Is Frosty glass available in this DL-6155-01CL? and --?

          A:  The DreamLine Solo, DL-6155-01 does come in frosted glass. This unit can be installed for a right or left installation which would let you move the stationary panel from one side to the other depending upon your situation. The base will remain the same for either install. It would be preferable to have the shower head pointing at the larger stationary panel. We also suggest with to install a rainfall shower head so the water will come straight down as opposed to being directed at one particular wall. All of our doors are considered frameless. Some units as you can see are more frameless than others. The less metal the more frameless. Some units have only hinges and brackets that attach the glass to the walls which are as frameless as you can get. Yes, the 31x31 SoloEnclosure is the smallest we carry in a neo angle.             Q:Solo v. Prime

            A:  Castle, The Solo and the Prime enclosures are exactly the same in terms of quality with both being manufactured to DreamLine's highest standards. As you probably saw from the photos, the Prime has 2 moving panels that slide outward from the center and the Solo has one moving panel that slides to one side. The Prime has a little bit larger walk through opening, so that may be a consideration. If the door is installed and maintained properly, durability and water tightness should not be an issue.               A:  Donna, The technical drawings for this item are available on the HomeDepot web page where the additional photos are located. Important things to remember are that the base for this item is 33x33" and is meant to be installed against the studs. Next your backer board is installed to the top of the flange around the base, then finish it off with your acrylic walls. Install the Solo enclosure onto your base and acrylic walls and you will have a lovely shower enclosure.
