A:  The only difference will be the finish. Typically, chrome finish will be the least expensive and other finishes will be slightly more money. This, of course, could change if Home Depot is having a promotional sale or something along those lines, but DreamLine is just the manufacturer and does not control promotional retail sales or pricing. A:  This kit will include a SlimLine acrylic shower base, a QWALL glue-to-backer acrylic shower wall kit, and an Infinity-Z shower door. The QWALL acrylic backwall kit will actually be 4 panels - 1 left, 1 right, and 2 back panels. A:  Yes - this kit will include a SlimLine shower base, a trim-to-fit glue-up acrylic QWALL shower wall set (left, right, and back wall panels), and the Infinity-Z shower door. Thank you for your interest in DreamLine!

A:  No, a showerhead and shower controls are not included with the Infinity-Z shower kit. This kit will include a DreamLine SlimLine acrylic shower base, QWALL acrylic backwalls, and the Infinity-Z shower door. DreamLine does not make or sell showerheads or plumbing fixtures, but most common fittings and fixtures will work, so you can select something that best suits your bathroom style. A:  We do not offer any sort of brushed or polished bronze finish for the Infinity-Z shower door at this time. The only finish we offer is the oil-rubbed bronze which is more of a brownish color. A:  The QWALL acrylic walls that come with this unit are made of a thin and lightweight material that is designed to be trimmed to fit your opening before they are glued to your backer board. A:  If you wanted to purchase just the shower base and acrylic wall set, the model number would be DL-6189R-01, however, please be advised that we do not typically recommend using a shower curtain with our SlimLine shower bases due to their very low-profile design. The standing area of a SlimLine shower base is very shallow and the curb is not very tall, so a shower curtain may not drape inside the shower properly to contain the water. A:  All of the joints where water can get out, including the joint between the acrylic walls and curbs of the shower base, should be sealed with a high-quality, mold & mildew resistant, 100% silicone caulk. It is standard practice to do this at the end of all DreamLine shower door and/or acrylic wall panel installations. There are many manufacturers for this type of caulk/sealant and they all have different requirements/instructions, so if you ever need to remove and replace the caulking, please refer to manufacturer of the caulk/sealant you used for installation for more information on how to remove the old caulk. As you mention, DreamLine does recommend that you do not use any types of metal scrapers on the acrylic shower base or shower walls as doing this could damage the surface.
