A:  Home Depot is asking a stranger to give you advice on a saw blade because they are too cheap to A) ask the manufacturer, B) staff someone who knows the products they sell, or C) to bother to actually be useful, they just want to pretend to be useful. What happens if I give you bad advice? This is not the first time they've asked me and received advice similar to this.

        Answer This Question

A:  That would depend on the saw itself. Power saws can be extremely dangerous. Consult the saw's owners manual or Ryobi Customer support.

A:  Hi Norda, Ipe is a very hard material. The Diablo 10 inch 60T Fine Finish blade is what we would recommend.

A:  The D1060S is optimized for a slide miter saw. The D1060X is intended for use on a chop/miter and/or a table saw. The model you want is the D1060X, not this model.

A:  depends on how hard you throw it.

A:  I'm sure it will. But don't know if it will chip out the edges. Be careful as there are variations of what people call plexiglass. Lexan or Polycarbonate is the same stuff CD's are made from and that might work better. Polycarbonate doesn't chip as easily and is stronger. I tested it on a piece of Optix acrylic sheet .118" thk and it worked very well on my table saw.

A:  Dear Smokey, Thank you for your question. For cutting plexiglass DIABLO part #D1084L is your best choice.
