A:  NO, you can not control the crack We use this for interior concrete demo when jackhammer are not allowed if you saw the window opening you could uses this to reduce the size of the slab. after you removed it from the opening.

A:  No. It would be very difficult. The compound will run out of holes drilled horizontally. You would probably end up with cracks in your foundation wall.

                  A:  NO

A:  The product can definitely be controlled but it would also determine depth. If you can send me photos and dimensions I can better assist. You can send photo to Mike@dexpan.com

A:  CC, it will certainly crack the concrete but I don't think it will do it in a controlled manor suitable for creating egress windows. You may be better off using a diamond blade wet saw suitable for cutting through cutting through concrete walls. I used the product to demo an exterior concrete stairwell and it worked quite well but I had 2 or 3 sides open for the concrete to expand into. The manufacturers website is very informative and has a support number to call if you want to get more technical advice.

A:  Are you using broken concrete for fill and then placing concrete on top for a foundation?if that’s the case foundations should be placed on virgin soil

                        by|Apr 8, 2019

A:  Broken Concrete up to 2-3" in approximate diameter can be mixed with other compactable materials and gravel as a subbase for concrete pours. The mix should be compacted and the surface should be level or flat without any broken concrete protruding up into the new slab.

A:  The product will turn back to a powder after it finalizes its process. Then you can wet it down into dirt then apply crushed cement. You do not want to dispose of Dexpan product near any drinkable water sources or water drains. You do not want to leave in container.
