A:  Thank you very much, Fixture is not meant to be dimmed, but if you or a qualified electrician can figure out how to use it with a dimmer, then it is up to you. Just be sure to follow the local electrical code and use a dimmer suitable for the type of bulbs you use. It is rated to use with (3) 60 watt maximum bulbs, so you can use lower wattage. For difference with Lutec, see online details for comparison. No wind rating is available.

A:  The top section can not be directly installed onto a 3 inch post. We do not have an adapter.

A:  No,, there is not a "traditional outlet". the wires that fed the bulbs goes down the pole and there is a cover plate that allows you to connect those wires to your electrical "source wires".
