Q:does the color of the glass shade cause the light in the room to be yellowed?

A: The beige glass does not give off yellow lighting. If it does it will be very minimal and should project the same light as any incandescent bulb. Installing a bulb with higher lumens can also be recommended to help ensure a consistent light.
