Q:Can this fixture be installed horizontally?
by|Oct 30, 2017

Answer This Question
A: Not recommended. The glass slides in from one end (top) and gravity keeps the glass in place. So a horizontal application means no positive way to keep glass in place. Also the heat from the 60 watt bulb is a concern for the fixture and the bulb. You can work these issues out with some creativity but you are in left field, be careful.

A: Yes, it is physically possible, however the bottom of the fixture is not the same as the top so it would look different from another angle.

Answer This Question
A: I just bought and installed two of these awesome lights. I installed 40w bulbs. The bulb base is candelabra (shape of the base) which I do not believe are available in led.

A: It is LED compatible, but they are E12 (candelabra), NOT E17 as the description states. I found bulbs up to about 1000 lumens (100 watt equivalent) with a little searching online.
