A:  Thank you for your question, LindaA! The trim does just refer to the visible parts of the faucet. A rough in valve will usually not be included with a trim kit. We can not guarantee that a Delta Roman tub trim, would be able to fit over a Moen rough in valve, and vice versa. A:  Hi, Kay! Thank you for your question. Your Delta roman tub trim can be changed out without having to change the valve body if your roman tub spout has the set screw on the back of the spout. All of our new trim kits have spouts with set screws on the back as well. If your spout assembly had a set screw in the front of the spout, no new trim would be able to retrofit on your existing valve. If a new valve body is needed, please use R2707 for this T2738-SS trim kit. Best Regards, Rosanna

A:  I replaced old faucets and did not need the rough-in valve kit. The only issue I had was that my old faucet stems were plastic and the new handles would not tighten onto the old stem. I contacted Delta and they sent me new stems at no charge. I went on to Delta.com customer service and posted the below, I would also include my address so that they can ship the replacement to you: Model No: T2705 Topic: replacementparts Purchased From: Home Depot How can we help you?: when I try to tighten the handle, the plastic on the cartridge crushes and the handle falls off. Is there a replacement cartridge that will allow me to tighten the handle.Thank you They sent me 2: STEM UNIT ASSEMBLY Finish: NOT APPLICABLE SKU: RP24096
