Q:I have a Delta Garden Tub Filler. Possibly Model #2705 Classic Garden Tub Trim with two acrylic knobs (held on by screws in the top of the cartridges). What are my options for changing out the handles/spout, & trim rings without changing out everything?

A: Mike:
Take one handle off (Allen hey, screw driver) & take it to the store to shop your options. The existing stem MUST be compatible with your new choice of handle! If it comes as a set (w/the tub spout) that should be similarly compatible.
Hope that helps!

A: Hi Mike,
Thanks so much for contacting Delta Faucet Company!
If the set screw for the tub spout is located on the bottom back side of the spout then you can update to a new trim kit without replacing the rough-in valves.
Please reach out with further questions!

A: Hello Aaron,
Thank you for your question! I am sorry that the information you are inquiring about the Delta Faucet Classic Roman Tub Trim In Stainless, model T2705-SS, is not readily available; however, I am happy to help you.
If the spout on your current trim kit has a set screw on the backside of it, then you would be able to use the new trim kits.
Please feel free to contact us with any questions or for further assistance.
Thank you for being a loyal Delta Faucet customer!

Q:I have a tub with the rough-in original to the house, about 26 years old. Can the spout and the handles be simply swapped out?

A: Hi DanM09!
Thank you for contacting us at Delta Faucet! I will be happy to help. It depends if the screw on the spout is located on the back or the front. If it is on the front then you will need to install a new rough-in valve below deck. If it is on the back of the spout then you can swap out just the trim.
Best Regards,
Tim

Q:I purchased this to replace the delta faucet that was installed in 1992 when the house was built. It does not appear to fit over the valve stem that is sticking out of the tub. Is there something I’m doing wrong or is there something else I can do (except changing her valve as well since that’s a pain and behind a tile pony wall).

A: Hello! Thank you for your question! You will unfortunately need to install a new R2707 rough under the deck in order for a new trim to install correctly.

Q:What spout adapter do I use with this spout. The spout adapter I have is 5/8 looks like this spout is 3_4.

A: Thank you for your question, DanAFT. We do not have a measurement for the end of the spout as it is not threaded. Regarding the valve, this unit will work with spout a spout adapter from an existing Delat Roman tub valve if the spout was held on by a screw. Otherwise, you will need to use an R2707 Valve.
Best regards, Jon

A: Hi, David!
Thank you for your question. The T2705-SS does not come with a drain assembly. None of our roman tub faucets come with drain assemblies.

A: Dear Nik,
Thank you for your question! The Delta Classic Roman Tub T2705-SS should attach to the deck mounted roman tub valve R2707, that should be close enough to the tub to fill it.
