A:  Hi, JSmooth! Thank you for your question. The Delta Monitor T14253-RB shower trim kit will require a Delta MultiChoice Universal R10000 Rough-In Valve Body. We do recommend to purchase the matching Diverter Trim kit, T11853-RB, with the Diverter Valve Body, R11000. The unit can be installed at the ceiling. We recommend a ceiling-mount shower arm. The Monitor 17 series unit has two handles, one on top of the other. The bigger handle turns on the water and changes volume, the smaller handle is a temperature knob control that changes the temperature. The TempAssure 17T series is similar to the Monitor 17 series but you're able to set the temperature and keep the temperature every time you get in and out of the shower. A:  Hi DP, Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # T17T253-RB will need a rough-in valve. We recommend model R10000-UNBXHF. You will need a diverter rough-in and trim. We suggest model R11000 rough-in valve with model T11953-RB diverter trim. We have several jets to choose from including models 50101-RB and 50150-RB. We offer two styles of handshowers. The wall mounted handshower is model 55530-RB and the slide bar mounted handshower is model 57530-RB. To complete your shower set-up, you will need a wall elbow for the handshower which is model 50570-RB. Thanks. Jody
