A:  Always, you call delta give model number or send picture, and they will send the cartridge free of charge, but if you do not know how, just remember the ring 'nut' can get stuck with sediment so do not use a pipe wrench or large heavy pliers with too much force or you will damage the casting, if it is hard use a vinegar soaked rag to wrap around it and leave for a few hours to loosen it up, should be hand tightened
