A:  Yes, for sure. That is probably stated like that only because the flow rate will vary depending on installation (e.g. well vs. city water).

A:  This trim is square, not oblong. I have had it for several years in chrome, and it looks very attractive and works well. You would need to measure, but this one might not be wide enough.
