    Q:Does Home Depot sell the needed handle? If so, what is the item number(s)? The description for the Cassidy 3-function diverter trim kit says handle kits (H595, H597, and H598) are sold separately, but a search of the HD website doesn't show them and there isn't a link.

      Q:this is a 3 function diverter meaning it can send water to the tub, shower or both but does it also turn water off and on and adjusts temperature from cold to hot like a normal valve?

        A:  Hi Mike, Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # T11897-LHP is a diverter trim that will need a rough-in valve to complete the diverter. We recommend using model R11000 to complete your diverter. This will allow you to divert the water from your existing shower or tub shower combination to another feature like a handheld showerhead or a set of jets. Thanks. Jody
