A: On the front of the handle is a blue and red cap, remove it. Take an allen wrench and loosen the screw a couple of turns until the handle can wiggle freely. Do not remove the handle but turn the screw until it begins to tighten, back it off again and gently pull the handle upward and then tighten slowly (you will feel the boundaries of the handle moving up or down, side to side). Give it a small amount of torque and it should help with the faucet not turning off all the way. The valve has a shaft on which the handle is attached. On the shaft is a flat portion of which the allen screw mounts. When the handle is lower on the shaft (flat cut out), the handle's "skirt" hinders complete movement of the valve shaft. Hope this helps... I wish Delta would redesign the valve and handle portion. If you need to see what I am talking about, loosen the allen screw and remove the handle. Be careful when tightening the allen screw, the handle is cast metal which easily strips.

A: Good question - we ordered a 472-DST at first by mistake, it has a slightly different style handle, with a slit down the center. It's almost impossible notice on the picture, but look closely. The 470 has a solid handle. The solid handle is a few dollars cheaper.
