Questions and Answers for Delta Pilar Sink Mounted Metal Soap Dispenser in Venetian Bronze

A:  I don't believe that they sell the parts individually. We had to buy the "kit" but now we have an extra bottle should the original fail. Our replacement has been in use for 3-4 years now and replaced one that was 5-6 years old. We use it many times a day.

A:  I'm not sure of the capacity in ounces but I would guess around 16 ounces.

A:  I would guess the capacity is about 8 oz; I never bothered to check- it is what it is so to speak; but i can say that i've had the dispenser for a couple of years now and it's held up excellently (looks brand new) and would highly recommend it...

A:  I don't recall the exact fluid ounce capacity of the reservoir bottle, but it seems to be quite adequate because we bought two of them that flank our kitchen faucet and one is filled with hand soap and the other with liquid dishwashing soap and use both pretty much every day and there is a considerable amount of time between refills, so we are very satisfied with both of the dispensers. Besides, they look very nice with our brushed metal finish faucet. RonnyM

A:  Just call Delta 1 800 345 3358 Delta customer service. They will most likely just send you one free. They are made of plastic and break easily.

A:  Yes, it comes all together. All you need is the opening on your counter and liquid soap or lotion, or whatever you plan to use in it.

A:  We bought this set to replace the soap dispenser that came with our faucet. The spring portion inside the pump top had broken. We only needed the top portion, but the set comes with the threaded black connector and the white plastic bottle -- just as pictured in the second photo. It was more than we needed, but less than buying a whole new faucet set.

A:  Sorry, don’t understand your question. I ordered two that flank our kitchen faucet—one for dishwashing detergent and the other for hand soap. Both work just fine.

A:  I just purchased a new one because I had the same problem

A:  You might want to contact Delta since the manufacturer is pretty good about standing behind their products and "troubleshooting" problems. My guess, and I could be wrong, is that the little hole from which the liquid comes out could be getting clogged. You could try taking a small paper clip and unbending it (or a piece of wire) and try to feed it into the end of the dispenser hole and work it into the dispenser internal tube through which the liquids pass. By jiggling it back and forth you might remove some thickened product. Then give the pump mechanism a good workout by putting the bottom of the intake tube in a glass of hot water while holding the dispenser with one hand, and then pushing up and down on the dispenser drawing the hot water through the entire pathway of the dispenser until it starts shooting liquid out of the end. If that doesn't work it could be that the dispenser pump would have to be changed, and, again, Delta is usually pretty good about standing behind their products.

A:  It sounds to me like the bottle isn’t screwed in air tight or air is escaping from the bottle somehow maybe. You may need to purchase a new kit, you get both parts together and I would use both of the new parts.

A:  No!

A:  No, it does blend air with the liquid being dispensed to create a foam.

A:  No, it's not a foam dispenser. It dispenses the soap in its liquid form. Bought it a couple of weeks ago, easy to install and looks great!

A:  no. It dispenses liquids--hand soap, dish soap, etc.

A:  The soap dispenser is about 8 inches and the stem is just a little shorter.
