A:  Satin nickel is more polished and shinier, while brushed nickel is similar in color, but not smooth, since it's been scuffed.

      Q:What is the diameter of the towel bar itself? If I purchase a 30" long x 5/8" diameter replacement bar, will it fit into the end pieces? I need a 30" towel bar and this style only goes to 24".

      A:  The diameter of the bar is 5/8". I would imagine that if the bar is 5/8 of an inch that it will fit into the ends.

        A:  Press the hardware back very firmly flat against the wall. Rock/twist it slightly as you slide it up a fraction of an inch. Then, tilt the top outward slightly as you slide the hardware down.

          A:  The same way it went on. Push up on the bottom (there's a spring) until it releases at the top.

              A:  Just put some 'up' pressure on the bar and it should pop off.

              A:  This product can be easily removed by pushing up on this item from the bottom and tilting back. It will be the opposite from the installation. Please feel free to contact us if you should need any addition assistance. Regards, emccollum

                A:  Install = inset the bottom of bar holder onto spring, lift/push up and push the top against the wall onto top of mounting piece. It will "click" in. Done. Remove = lift up (may take some effort) and rock the top away from the wall, off the mounting piece. The bar holder will drop off the bottom on its own. Reattach per install after paint is dry.

                A:  Yes, and if they are out of stock, cut off six inches with a hack saw. Cut edge is hidden well inside the rod holder, so doesn't have to be neat.
