A:  Hello! Thank you for your question! If you are purchasing a hand shower to accompany the model you reference you will need an R11000 diverter rough as well as a 3 setting diverter trim kit. You will need a 6 setting diverter trim kit if you plan on diverting water between more than 2 components. Best Regards, Tim

A:  I have a few of these installed at my home and I can confirm, all of the external parts are metal (with the exception of the shower head face which is plastic).

The cartridge assembly that comes with the trim kit may not work, you would need to keep your original cartridge assembly (RP19804) install. Best regards, Tanya

A:  That is what I did, just change out handle & shower head. Worked like a charm. I had been told that you have to stay with Delta. Not a problem for me.
