A:  I wish I could answer your question, I don't no for sure. We did not use the plate that sits around the bottom of the faucet. We keep ours off and it looks better to us.

A:  I had this faucet installed without any escutcheon, as I had a one hole sink. You would need to measure across the total holes of the sink to decide whether this faucet would work. I hope this helps you.

A:  Yes. That is exactly how we had ours installed and they are beautiful that way. We specifically did not want that extra metal piece that sits on the sink. Ours works perfectly and has an elegant look to it.

A:  Dear Bill, Thank you for your question. The Delta Lahara 538-SSMPU-DST is designed for a Lavatory/Bathroom sink faucet. There is no way to connect a kitchen side sprayer assembly to this faucet. Best regards, Tanya

A:  No, the hot and cold enter the mixer valve portion on faucet and immediately enter the discharge spout.

A:  Hi Gina, Thank you for your question. Water spots form when water drops evaporate on the product. We recommend blotting the faucet dry after use to prevent this from happening. However, water spots and fingerprints can be easily cleaned by wiping the finish with a damp cloth. If additional cleaning is needed, we recommend using a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water. Alternatively, you may use Pledge original furniture polish to create a water-resistant surface. Best regards, Jon

A:  WE JUST HAD THE FAUCETS INSTALLED. HAVE NOT NOTICED THE WATER SPOTS YET.

A:  After using, your wet hands many time will drop some water on the faucet as you reach to back of faucet to turn off water. It Is there that some water spots may occur. No problem, just wipe off occasionally.

A:  Can’t think of a reason why it would not. The faucet won’t care if the sink is counter mounted or recessed. It takes one center hole to run hoses through. If you are removing a faucet that has 3 holes, just use the escutcheon plate and mount faucet on top of it.
