We recommend never connecting a portable dishwasher to pull-out or pull-down kitchen faucet spray wand, as potential pressure fluctuations during dishwasher operation may result in the hose rupturing. It may also not dock properly. Some Delta kitchen faucets have a cache, or hidden, aerator for design purposes. This design can be found on most Diamond Seal Technolgy series. If your model has a cache (hidden) aerator, you may need to order an adaptor to adapt the internal threads to standard 55/64"-27 male threads in order to connect the appliance. A:  Hi BevyG, Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model 470-AR-DST. The arctic stainless finish is easy to clean but does not have technology to resist water spots or smudges. Faucets with a Lumicoat finish repel liquids, resisting water spots and staying cleaner longer. Model 9982-AR-PR-DST would be one example. PR in the model number indicates a Lumicoat finish.
