A:  When I purchased mine I bought (2) of the bronze for a double vanity and a stainless for another bathroom. The piece, I guess you are calling the drain trim, came with each of my faucets. I purchased mine online because the ones in the Home Depot Stores have plastic housing, mine from online has metal housing. I bought those three for a little over $900.00. If you buy direct from Delta, it is much higher. I first saw these in Southern Living Magazine. Faucets in the big retail stores usually have plastic housing; I wanted something that would last, and I am very satisfied with my online purchase of this product from Home Depot.

The Delta 2555-MPU-DST uses a ceramic cartridge and does not have replaceable seats and springs. A:  If your somewhat handy call Delta the # on the web site and they will send you the parts you need to fix it free of charge. Guaranteed for life.

A:  After trying multiple times to repair, I finally replaced the unit. Costly, but saved a lot of frustration. Unit was approximately 12 years old and I had replaced the internal springs, etc. many times with limited success.

A:  Steve, I'm sorry to hear that your faucet is leaking! This model takes RP60400 cartridges. However, if your faucet was manufactured prior to December 2012, you may have a different version of the faucet. A:  Have a known experienced plumber install the faucet. Don’t cut the lines. The plumber cost $200 for my installation. To me, the expense was worth it. No major issues and no leaks.

A:  Hi Timewarpone, Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 2555-PBMPU-DST does have the supply lines already attached to the faucet. They are 32" long and 3/8" compression fittings. We recommend that you loop the lines if you need them shorter but if you really need to cut the lines, there are very specific instructions in the manual as to how to cut the lines. If not cut properly, it could cause leaks and void your warranty. Thanks. Jody
