A: Hi Mary, thank you for contacting Delta Faucet Company!
To clean the aerator on our 2523LF-SSMPU the aerator will need to be removed. You will also need a small bowl, white vinegar, and a soft toothbrush.
1. Remove the aerator with the aerator wrench.
2. Please mix a 50/50 solution of white vinegar and water in the small bowl.
3. Scrub the aerator gently with the soft toothbrush.
We appreciate your inquiry. Please reach out directly if you have further questions!
Best Regards,

Q:Is there matching towel bars, toilet roll holder and towel ring in this classic design? Thank you.

Answer This Question
A: Thank you for your question, Dag! The Classic collection does not offer specific accessories to match this lavatory faucet unfortunately. Many of these are designed; however, to coordinate with various styles.

Q:are the supply lines included

Answer This Question
A: No. Just the 1/2" compression nuts and ferrules. You'd need fixed risers, or what I prefer to use a wrapped flexible feed line 1/2" on one end (connects to the faucet) and 3/8" (connects to 3/8" 1/4 trun supply valve). Pick a length to match the installation (not too short) and with correct end fittings.

Q:Can this faucet be used in a sink without an overflow? If not, can you make a suggestion for another faucet? I'm having trouble finding a faucet for my sink. Thanks!

Answer This Question
A: Thank you for your question, Anonymous. This faucet can be used in a sink without an overflow. However, the included pop-up assembly is only designed for sinks with an overflow. You may purchase a less-overflow drain assembly such as the 72172 Push Pop-Up Less Overflow. You may leave the lift rod installed as a decorative piece or remove it. Note that the 2503LF is the same faucet without a pop-up assembly.

Q:Help! My contractor did not install this faucet properly. The left handle is loose and you can lift it right off. I tried to tighten the screw on the side, but there is nothing for the screw to hold onto. I am trying to get the contractor to come back and fix this, but he is taking his time- unfortunately. I want to know the functionality just so I understand what was wrong with the install of the handle and why it won't tighten. Does anyone know how to fix this issue? Obviously it was not installed correctly. Thanks so much!

A: Look it up on HD product page, and download the instruction manual. FYI That handle has to be installed in the correct position so the screw lines up with the flat part of the shaft. Lift the handle off, and look at the inside, and match that up with the shaft, and push it down. Make sure the screw is out far enough to let it go down all the way. When it's down, simply tighten the screw. I often wonder how some of these so-called plumbers ever got a license.

A: With the Allen screws out, make sure the handles are aligned in the closed position, as shown in the product photo. Then push each handle down securely. Then screw in the Allen screws. Helpful Tip...during installation, cover up the sink's drain with a towel so you don't loose the screws.
