A: Find another pot 2 inches bigger than the one is in now tap the sides. Slowly start pulling it out be careful not to damage the plant. Make sure it’s roots are loose and they look healthy. I wouldn’t try to separate like I did. The other one never survived. Keep it how it is, bigger pot pot is a good idea. Good luck. It’s a gorgeous fern.

A: Shock will stunt a fern for sure and cold snowy weather is a shock to them. I would bring it in, and get some grow lights on it, and let the new growth come back and fill in. It might take a while but with the warm weather coming it might fill in rather quickly. When it gets warm put it in sunlight and try to keep it in a humid location. You may lose a number of fronds from the cold, but new growth should happen if it wasn't left out too long.

A: Yes , you can trim them low and wait for the new leaves to start growing. It will take time but they can be revived.

A: We water ours each day because it hangs off our deck and is in the sun for about 6 hours each day. Use one 12 ounce water bottle filled with tap water.

A: Hey Ryan! I mist my ferns lightly 2xs a week. Liquid fertilizer once a month is recommended. They love a warm semi-shady room also. Hope this helps!

A: Hi Ryan, How much and how often to water depends on your environment. In a warmer climate the soil will dry out faster and require more frequent waterings. We recommend starting with 2-3 cups of water once a week and adjust as needed.
