Q:Is this wood trim symmetrical? The wood picture appears asymmetrical, however the black cross section appears symmetrical. I am looking for 3/4" (ish) symmetrical wood trim. Thank you.

A: In reference to the milling the answer is yes. However some of the stock may be warped and twisted and care should be taken when selecting

A: No - the profile is thicker on one side. If you're using it for moulding, the thicker part should be on the outside and the thinner part should be on the inside.

A: The back part of the trim is flat so it can be glued or nailed onto another surface.

A: The average length of the trim molding is 96" (8'), however I have received some stock that was about 12" (1') less. When purchasing verify the length.

A: The product dimensions state 96" - which seems right to me from one I purchased
