A:  Our bathroom is done in greens and a medium depth purple and it looks terrific. We've had the mirror up now for several years and honestly it is with regularity that we say how glad we were that we came upon that mirror almost by accident because it so suits the room. It has also worn very well with the vibrancy of the colors looking as they did on day one Hope this helps

A:  I painted my walls a light green but I think a light lavender would look nice.

A:  This mirror is absolutely beautiful! We bought two and get many compliments. Weather or not they would go with lavender, I'm not sure.

A:  We love the mirror but our bathroom is a grayish white so I don't know how it will go with the light lavender - if it is really a light color it will probably go well with it. The beauty is if it doesn't match Home Depot will take it back.

A:  There is lavender in the mirror. The colors are the colors of sea glass. Aqua, light blue/green shades, in my opinion it wouldn’t work with lavender walls..but it’s a great mirror!

A:  It had 3 hanging points on the rear, so it looks like you could hang it sideways or vertically.

A:  Probably but you'll need to attach your own hanger. It does not come from the factory ready to hang sideways.

A:  It has three hangers on back. I hung it vertically using two of the hooks and the picture hanging wire that is included.

A:  It comes with a steel braided cable, so you run it through the mounting points behind the mirror, wind it up upon itself to secure the cable, and then hang it on your wall.

A:  Hello janey, There's no reason you can't use it over your mantle. Two factors to consider are: The look of the mirror. Does it complement the room? The size of the mirror. A:  janey, unless your mantle is no more than 50" the gorgeous Reeded Sea glass oval mirror might get lost. Remember you can always take it back...Home Depot is great!

A:  Can be used in either location.

A:  I don't recall from the packaging the exact weight, but I was able to hang it on one screw using a plastic anchor in sheetrock. The mirror has 2 rings attached securely to the back and comes with picture wire...so easy to hang and no worries of being too heavy.

A:  Mirror weighs approximately 11 lbs.
